Advantages
Great multi-purpose fire extinguisher for the house, car or boat.
Can be used on fires involving flammable liquids eg petrol, oil, paint, LPG, can be used on live electrical equipment fires, and ordinary combustibles like wood, textiles, rubber, plastics and paper. This is not your ideal kitchen fire extinguisher - use a wet chemical fire extinguisher in kitchen areas. This is our smallest fire extinguisher with a hose, and is suitable for use in small commercial vehicles
AS2444 sect 5.4 states that a fire extinguisher for a commercial vehicle must have a hose so it can get into awkward locations
Disadvantages
The discharge of fine powder may restrict vision. The powder may infiltrate sensitive electrical equipment leaving a residue. The residue can be vacuumed up when dry. If the residue contacts a very hot object it may form a film that is hard to remove. It gives no protection against re-ignition of flammable liquid fires

This 2A:30B:E rated fire extinguisher will put out three times as much Class B fire as a 2A:10B:E. The higher the rating the more fire fighting power the extinguisher contains.
